Patrick D. Smith serves as managing partner of Griswold & Company, headquartered in Washington, D.C. Through its strategy, technology, and consulting services, Griswold & Company drives meaningful improvements across it's client base worldwide. The company employs scores of professionals across the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Outside of Griswold & Company, Patrick has worked as a Data Scientist for Booz Allen Hamilton and as a member of the Quantitative Analytics team at Standard & Poor's. He also has been a Subject Matter Expert in Data Science for General Assembly, the world's largest and foremost school for computer programming, and helped launch their data science program. He frequently speaks on data science and deep learning in the D.C. area. Patrick holds a BA in Economics from The George Washington University.
He lives in Washington, D.C., where he leads the Young Professionals Circle of Friends of the D.C. Jazz Festival and serves on the BRAVO Board of the Washington National Opera as well as the Board of Directors of the PostClassical Ensemble. He is a member the G.W. Luther Rice Society, where he founded and funds a scholarship for history students. Patrick also serves on the Board of the D.C. Society, Sons of the American Revolution, and is on the Host Committee for the Society's annual Sweethearts and Patriots benefit gala.
